Treekreg Harness adjustable dog harness
Adjustable pulling harness that is perfect for when dogs are going to be active to pull/pull. It is suitable for ski touring, jogging, canicross, kicksport and cycling. With the front D-ring on the harness, you can lead your dog in a controlled manner to and from, for example, a ski slope.
Suitable for most types of dogs - dog breeds
An adjustable pull harness fits both short, powerful dogs and long, slender dogs. Adjustment allows the same harness to be used on a growing dog. It can also be adapted to other dogs within the same size range.
Good padding for the dog
The harness is padded with high-quality foam around the neck that keeps its shape after long periods of use. With its padded back, it lies very comfortably on the dog's backside.
Easy to put on and take off
For dogs that are reluctant to step into a classic harness, this is a harness that is easy to put on and take off. You open the buckle of the belly straps and put it on sideways as if it were a collar. This is also a great advantage for old and rheumatic dogs.
Adjusting/adjusting the harness for pulling
The harness should be adjusted so that the pull point/attachment ring is on the back third of the back when used for active pulling. When the dog is standing straight up, the harness should curve well up on the back. This is both correct and important. The harness should only lie flat when the dog is working with its head down and pulling. Adjust the length so that the dog can lean forward to pull, while the harness is tightened. This will allow the harness to provide free airways during pulling activity. This adjustment is ideal for leash riding, cycling with the dog in front and running. Even for walking with a dog that is actively pulling.
Adjusting/adjusting the harness for cycling when the dog is on its side
Here, the pull point/attachment ring should be adjusted further forward to lie directly behind the middle of the dog's back. The belly strap on the side closest to the bike should be fully tightened, while the opposite side should be fully relaxed. This will prevent the chest strap from being pulled up into the dog's armpit.
Adjusting/adjusting the harness for walking
For easy walking, the pull point/attachment ring can be adjusted further forward, to lie more towards the middle of the dog's back between the withers and tail. This gives more control over the dog and keeps the harness in place more when the leash is slack.
Adjustable neck opening
The neck opening has a simple adjustment towards the neck so that it is easy to get the harness over the dog's head. Turn the harness sideways so that it is not uncomfortable over the dog's ears. The neck opening is then tightened so that the harness lies close to the neck. Be sure to pull the loose neck skin in front of the neck opening. Conversely, when it is to be removed, the neck skin is gently pulled back and the harness is taken sideways off the dog again.

Washing and maintenance
All equipment will last longer if it is well cared for, and it is also more pleasant for the dog. Avoid leaving it unkempt over time.
The harness can be machine washed at 40 degrees in a laundry bag. Leave to dry at room temperature - DO NOT tumble dry as this will deform the foam in the padding.
If you see any loose threads - burn them off with a lighter.
