High-quality adjustable pulling harness that can be adapted to most dogs
Trekreg Harness adjustable pulling harness for dogs
Adjustable pulling harness that is perfect when dogs are going to be active pulling. It is suitable for ski-sledding, jogging, canicross, kick-scooting and cycling. With the front D-ring on the harness, you can guide the dog safely off the ski trail.
Suitable for most types of dogs - dog breeds
An adjustable pulling harness is suitable for both short, stocky dogs and long, slender dogs. The adjustment means the same harness can be used on a growing dog. It can also be adapted to other dogs within the same size range.
Good padding for the dog
The harness is padded with high-quality foam around the neck that retains its shape after prolonged use. With its padded back piece, it sits very comfortably on the dog's hindquarters.
Easy to put on and take off
For dogs that are reluctant to step into a classic harness, this is a harness that is easy to put on and take off. You open the buckle on the belly straps and put it on sideways as if it were a collar. This is also a major advantage for old and arthritic dogs.
Adjustment/fitting of the harness for pulling
The harness should be adjusted so that the pulling point/attachment ring is on the back third of the dog's back when used for active pulling. When the dog is standing upright, the harness should arch well up on the back. This is both correct and important. The harness should lie flat first when the dog is working with its head down and pulling. Adjust the length so that the dog can lean its body forward to pull while the harness tightens. This will keep the dog's airways clear during pulling activities. This adjustment is ideal for ski-sledding, cycling with the dog in front, and running. Even for walking a dog that pulls actively.
Adjustment/fitting of the harness for cycling when the dog is on the side
Here, the pulling point/attachment ring should be adjusted further forward to sit directly behind the middle of the dog's back. The belly strap closest to the bicycle is tightened completely, while the opposite side is loosened completely. Then the chest strap will not be pulled up into the dog's armpit.
Adjustment/fitting of the harness for walking
For casual walking, the pulling point/attachment ring can be adjusted further forward, to sit more towards the middle of the dog's back between the withers and the tail. This gives more control over the dog and keeps the harness more in place with a loose leash.
Adjustable neck opening
The neck opening has a simple adjustment towards the neck so that it is easy to get the harness over the dog's head. Turn the harness sideways so that it is not uncomfortable over the dog's ears. The neck opening is tightened so that the harness lies close to the neck. Make sure to pull the loose neck skin forward in front of the neck opening. Conversely, when it is to be taken off, the neck skin is gently pulled back and the harness is taken off the dog sideways again.

Washing and maintenance
All equipment lasts longer if it is well cared for, and it is also nicer for the dog. Avoid letting it lie raw over time.
The harness can be machine-washed at 40 degrees in a wash bag. Let it dry at room temperature - DO NOT tumble dry, as this deforms the foam in the padding.
If you see loose threads - burn them off with a lighter.
