Dog boots for small dogs
Soft and comfortable high dog boot made of high-quality fleece that provides protection while being very pleasant to wear.
The socks are sewn with durable side seams and a seamless toe section. Perfect for dry conditions to protect the dog's paws on bare ground, ice, and icy crust. The dog boots provide excellent protection without the dog losing contact with the ground. This is important for both balance and movement.
Why a high dog boot and double Velcro straps?
Some dogs experience chafing at the dewclaw from "regular" dog boots. This can be avoided by taping the dewclaw. Here, we offer a solution that solves this easily, as the lower Velcro strap is fastened at the "wrist" and the upper strap above the dewclaw. Double Velcro - twice as secure.
Comfort and quality for the dog
The fleece is soft and comfortable, protecting the paw. The socks are made with top-quality fabric, stitching, and Velcro.
Usage of Fleece dog boot
This dog boot is well-suited for trips in dry snow and on bare ground.

Velcro straps
Seleverkstedet supplies dog boots without elastic Velcro straps. This is because we have found that dog boots with elastic straps are more likely to fall off during use. If tightened too much, there is a risk that the elastic strap will be too restrictive. This can hinder blood circulation in the joint if they are not in constant motion. If not tightened firmly, there will always be some elasticity remaining, which can cause the strap to slip over the paw when the dog steps into snow or pushes off firmly.
Use of dog boots
Once you have put the boot on, lift the other leg so the dog is standing properly on the booted leg – this makes it easier to see if the boot fits. It should not be too tight around the paw, nor should it hang loose. Lift the leg with the boot, give the boot a tug, and ensure it does not slip off the paw.
Giving the boots a longer lifespan
Dog boots are a consumable item, but you can extend their lifespan with simple tricks. Long claws wear out dog boots and can also be harmful to the dog. Keep claws short and file them lightly after trimming. Brush the boots to remove grit and make sure there is never any grit inside the boot.
NB! Once a hole has appeared in a boot, it can no longer be used. There is a risk that gravel or snow can get inside the boot and cause injury to the dog's paw.
