High Endurance Dog Boot 4-pack paw socks

High paw socks with double Velcro that fit very well and protect the wolf's claw. Paw socks in nylon with a light coating on the inside to protect against water. The socks are sewn with good seams on the side and seamless toe section. Made to protect the dog's paws - both for wet and dry conditions.

How to put on the paw sock

The sock is folded smoothly around the dog's wrist and the bottom Velcro is tightened tightly. Then give the sock a little tug. If it still fits, it is attached correctly. If it slips over the paw, you need to tighten it more tightly. The top Velcro is attached to the top of the claw. This prevents chafing at the claw that some dogs are prone to when using traditional paw socks.

Choose the right size.

Choose a size that gives the paw enough room when the dog stands on the leg with full weight. You can easily check this by lifting the opposite leg so that it has to step on the leg. It should not be too tight around the paw, nor should it hang and sag.

Give your paw pads a longer life

Paw socks are a consumable item, but you can make them last longer with simple tricks: long claws wear out paw socks, but can also be harmful to the dog. Keep claws short and file them lightly after clipping. Brush the socks free of grit and make sure there is never grit inside the sock. Turn the socks over so that you wear them on both sides.

NB! Once a sock has a hole, it can no longer be used. There is a risk that stones or snow could get inside the sock and cause damage to the dog's paw.

Maintenance/washing

All equipment will last longer if it is well cared for, and it is also more pleasant for the dog. Avoid leaving it unkempt over time.
The foot socks can be machine washed at 40 degrees in a laundry bag. Leave to dry at room temperature - DO NOT tumble dry.
Also look for loose threads and lightly burn them off with a lighter.
